Default How to remove team colors from a skin ?

I tryed to use the tutorial on GenDev but I still can't figure it out, I use photoshop and I'm trying to find and then delete the team colors on some skins I dled, I know it has something to do with the Alpha Channel but even when I delete the alpha channel and save : the team colors are still there when I play !!

Be good, help a noob, help me :>

i would recommending talkign to old man funk, he is big on skinning. i read several tutorials about this, but i do not use photoshop, but pm old man funk, i know he can help

Change some model part's names. They are now: HOUSECOLOUR01 call them sometin other.

"housecolor", not "housecolour".

it's an American game, not a British...

You'll need to import the model in Gmax, attach the housecolor meshpart to the main mesh, then re-apply the W3d materials.

Is there a way to disable the team colors ? Without using Gmax (Im using photoshop 7.0).

I think that means the model can be remapped into the house colour. Sort of like Remapable=yes in TS/RA2 art.ini.
