Default object upgrades for buildings,needs help

I got the idea to upgrade a defense building,but i failed when doing that experiment.
It's like the overlord,but this time it's on a building,here's the code i made for it.

(here i only use the upgrades of the overlord for making it easier when tweaking)

good idea but i cant see where you went wrong
i dont even see any difference
but it could be that like the drones they update there position more often than the buildings
or that there is a fixed place for the upgrades to mount on the over lord that the building lacks

Did you give the building a transport slot like the Overlord?

Hi, SJG. It's me, coolfile.
Please tell me what you cannot accomplish: appearance, functions or neither?
To make it work, 3 Modules are needed, such as W3DOverlordTankDraw, OverlordContain and ProductionUpdate. In this case, there must be a Bone named FIREPOINT01 in your W3D model.

u mean the OverlordContain?
Hmm...i would go and have a try
and to coolfile,i think i'd like to try without the W3DOverlordDraw first,then use it if it doesnt work

you could always do it like the palice and make it so that when you get the upgrade it puts that in the building (make a imobile gattling cannon, etc)
that wat it should stay garrisoned although it wont look as cool
it should do the job
just make it so it only allows inside kindof ship, building or something like that
That way since the building is on land the ship wont disimbark and you cant put in a ship either so it only excepts the upgrades you pick
or the building thing as buildings are imobile

Now there's no result yet,but i got a weird event.when i sell the defense on which built a prop tower,at the ending frame, i found the dozer beside got a redcross suddenly and it only remains one sec.what's happening?
and to ccs,i dont quite understand wat u said. a IMMOBILE KindOf for the gattling cannon?(sorry, i have to say u should put more comma in your reply)

and what i mean is "KindOf: IMOBILE" i belive that is the kind of for buildings (i have not edited for a wee while) but essentaly just make the unit imobile so that it cant get in and out of the building and is built in the building

Erm...

If you triggering it with those fields I'm not entirely sure it would work. Considering your (probably) missing overlord contain modules and well those upgrades are meant for units, you might have to change the upgrades etc. to fir the buildings not units
