Default Adding New Sides Thread

INI Editing was easy, PlayerTemplate.ini, ControlBarScheme.ini. I simply copied GLA
and I have added Win/Lose stuff in Multiplayer.scb.
Now, the real problem is that if "Add skirmish players" is pressed in the Player List dialogue box (in World Builder), it will only add Civilian, America, China and GLA! What file should I edit?

About the AI :
New sides should be listed in the player list of the map, or else the new side's AI won't work.
That means every maps should be modified when a new side is added!

With Generals having around 20 maps, and 5 minutes to edit each map, that should take little less then 2 hours...

If you are not willing to make that amount of work, then you are not capable of making a decent mod at all...

In half-life you have to make new/seperate maps for your mod or edit old ones - just do the same with Generals. This will make mods more unique, cutting down on n00b mods

Long live n00b mods!!
*waves his n00b flag*

They could've split the ini's a bit moreso I personally think, FactionUnits and Buildings are over 1 million lines a piece! :|

Onto topic, yeah, it's not that horridly much work, and if your adding a side, presuming it's even somewhat complete, the side will be larger then the maps anyways, map files are quite small
