The Ju-87D Stuka was in the early years the Stormtrooper of the skies. Not only a divebomber, but a terror weapon, it's howling sound announced a 1400kg bomb coming down, destroying practicly anything it hit: the french supertank Char2C, the Soviet Battleship Marat, countless Allied and Russian tanks.

This terrifying plane also features in Blitzkrieg2, as a special attack like the A-10 in Generals. Modelled and skinned by Patton, and rigged by Flyby, you can here see 3 Stuka's attack an Allied tank column being stuck on a bridge behind a slow-moving T-28:

Wow, looks great. Although it appears Blitz 2 won't feature airfields which is a bit disapointing gameplay wise, but I suppose you made up with the sheer power of aircraft :P Those two stukas obliterated those shermans and trucks. I hope the stukas use their mgs to strafe like the a10s in Generals.

I dont know what ever gave you that idea, I personaly designed the airfield model, and have played internal beta versions to know that it does infact have buildable aircraft....

We never said we didn't had airfields, we just never showed them yet

And the Stuka's won't use their guns, thatwas the G-version, (Panzerknacker) which didn't dive.
