Default New land types?

is it possible to create a new type of land that has its own building options and locomoters? so instead of just ground, you could have groundX (or something more creative). and there would be certain things that you could build on ground x that you couldnt build on regular earth.

i think that would come down to a similar solution as getting naval yards that you can only build on a shore, huh?

but yeah.... is it possible to define new land types?

Yeah, just like damage types *curses*. It would be so much easier to solve problems if you could make new damage types.

do you mean like concrete on dune?
i think its hard coded

but you could make the concrete a structure
and
give it a upgrade that builds a building

That wouldn't be very functional. He means like just roll up a dozer to a particular terrain type and build a particular structure that only works on that terrain type.

yes but if you could edit the terran with a certain unit
and that building could have more defence
then the extra time to build the land would be worth it
