Using Mastercam for modeling
I have decided to use Mastercam to do all my modeling since I am already very familiar with it and I will import the model into Gmax for conversion to W3d. My question is what kind of surfaces are used in skinning? Mastercam creates NURBS, Parametrics and curve generated.
A NURBS model comes into Gmax with very high quality so I've been using that method but I don't know if this approach is going to work since I'm not familiar with game modeling. Can skins be placed over NURBS surfaces with a skinning program?
