Default C&C Generals On 64 Bit Proc

Hi ppl i got a new pc an amd 64 bit but the generals installer go's stuck when i install gen can someone help me ??

1) Await Win64.
2) Run in 32bits mode. Lookup your processor manual

i have it working now it whas a damn error of norton :'( i have the pc 30 mins

You should always disable anti-virus software when installing trusted software.

I have unstalled norton its a sh!t program and now i have installed mcfee

good job works great for me.

The best combination is Norton FireWall + McAfee AntiVir.

BTW, i think there is a 64-bit WindowsXP arround somewhere.

Norton always tends to crash and slow the entire system (moving an icon took me at least 8 seconds), I use sygate now with the system suite antivirus, works effectively.

Norton is a very powerful utility, and much superior to McAfee.


1) Don't blame software that you use ILLEGALLY! You never know whats been done to illegal downloaded software.

2) Don't blame software if your using it on a computer that does not meet the minimum requirements.


I have never EVER had norton slow down my system, and I run several of Norton's software suites.

btw:
I got the orginal beta of mircosoft and gets orginal 64 bit xp
but there are no drivers of the ATI Readon 9800XT for WinXP 64 Bit bad ATI :P nvidia got it already
