Wow, does the tiger have enough weapons. I was not suprised to see the Camanche scrapped, it was costing way to much. and i think we dont really need it yet.
for 200 polys that F-18 looks really good. I keep a goal of no more than 500 polys for aircraft. most of the originals are between 300 and like 420 i think. so your way in the window.
Oh when you do the textures, amke sure to nock the res. down to 256 cause i have had people say my models slow there comps down when using 512, which is what i use for my personnal pleasure.

hehe the tiger has quite a lot of different weapons configurations.Someone might want different weapons on it, plus I havent decided on the final weapons loadout because of polys.Those models represent all the ones I could find that are approved for use on the tiger.The Stingers/Mistral missiles share the same model, just two tubes on the wingtips.If ATA missiles are not fitted then a rocket pod with 12 68mm rockets is attached.On the mid wing are rocket pods containing 22 68mm rockets each.Other availavble options are the trigate or HOT anti tank missile, carrying four of either on each mount, or .50 cal AA gun pods.
Untill I do some good tutorials with photoshop, Im not even going to attempt creating anymore skins.It takes me forever to locate tools etc, and I dont have an understanding of whats available to me.

Whoah, dude check out that payload on the Tiger Heli.
From the modeling point of view it looks too much, but I'm sure in game it will be fine.

Hey keyOp can I use your tiger once you have it skinned as I'm really interested in adding it to my mod.
Also I think just make it so it has some basic pods on the inside pylons and pairs of missiles on the outside so it can be setup like the commanche in game with rockets and the rocketpod upgrade.
Look forward to seeing this model completed

I might apply a quick skin to it but I wouldnt expect anything too flash.Youre welcome to use it for whatever you like once Ive finished it.
It will be in Gmax file format because Im not rigging or coding it except for the rotor blades and animations.This way you can select whatever weapons payload you want, and what variant the chopper is.

I just mean, the weapon loadout looks too much, like all the missiles hanging down and all, but in-game it will look cool.
