argh, now I can't even OPEN the scripts, and I don't know why! It just keeps on giving me this message "Importing team teamSkirmishAmerica of player SkirmishAmerica. Player SkirmishAmerica doesnt exist, Select player.." And then if I click OK then it says to choose from a list of players, but the only one there is Neutral. If I select Neutral another message comes up: "Importing team teamSkirmishChina of player SkirmishChina. Player SkirmishChina doesnt exist, Select player.." and it just goes on and on. I'm really new to editing AI scripts so is there something really obvious that I am doing wrong or what?

You have to add the skirmish players first.

How would you go about adding a new side to AI? Do you have to replace an old side and if so how? Or can you add a side? I can't add a new folder because it becomes a sub folder.

what is the relation between the script and the aidata.ini file ? how the ai script refer to the aidata.ini and why the definition of a new info side creates a technical problem ?

In most cases it is obvious how the script refers to the aidata.

The technical problem does not occur with my aidata.ini.. but that may be because I have also made the build list for the new side, which basically tells the AI what to build where and when.

Do you have the structure that is defined in the BaseDefenseStructure1 line in your build list?
