i wanted too add a helicopter too the gla arsenal but since there are soo many ppl that think it's lame to let the gla have a rusty old helicopter which is very weak and comes no way near a commanches spead or fire power of a helix
so i stared this poll here to see how many ppl think it's lame or not :|

Ehr srry.. Yeah i wanna see a Toxin heli or sumtin. GLA should not have planse but weak rusty planes are k00l. Ill be using them for my ra2 civilian side, which is a little like the GLA (not kamikaza but still rusty ) so i think you should. But make em really weak in damage thingies.. attack could be a 'lil stronger

I agree on the Toxin Heli.. although there is "Toxin" everything in CnC Generals and onward, i would hope something else like an Anthrax plane that flys past and sprays gunk everywhere.. helicopter idea is cool though, they do need some kind of air unit i think.
I disagree strongly with any kind of GLA airforce.
But, I do think that the GLA would benefit from a dirt airstrip to land stolen planes at, it would open loads of new tactical oppurtunities for them imo... assuming the game allows planes to be stolen and still launch from the airstrip :S
SecondWave added a hind to the GLA. A weak attack unit, but can be used to transport units and harass ground units. We took it out of the latest version, but it will return once we make the airfield. Will that helipad be publicaly released?

How would you steal an airplane? You could capture an airfield, but then you'd have an airfield...
I guess stealing airplanes could be done with hijacker logic, I don't see any problems with that as long as the ConvertToHijackedVehicleCrateCollide module has
AIRCRAFT under required kindofs..
But I think the GLA need aircraft. Look at the poll result! 8v1 so far.
If the GLA can have tanks, scuds and anthrax, they can have helicopters, or old attack planes!
