Default Whats with all these new mods?

Not that I'm complaining, but there seem to be more and more mod teams popping up lately for Generals. Its great that its happening...but why? Maybe due to the exposure mods have been getting in magazines lately?

Um no....I jsut think its more likely that these mods are popping up because more people are learning to mod because of more available resources.I remember when I started modding generals, it is when I registered here. There was hardly anything compared to what there is now.

o, you're here...I'll just post the pm here...
------------------------------*********

You seem to have a hang up on this issue, as you've brought it up several times...usually in attacking people (ie "what have you done to help people...", etc.)

What type of "help" are you talking about? There are more than enough tutorials on editing generals out there as well as forums where people can ask questions (as long as its reasonable, it'll get answered). Besides that, what other type of "help" is there that isn't available already?

Back when I started, most of the help was "look at the inis and work it out" or jsut plain wrong. There were some usefull threads, but not many tutes.Believe me, I know how to use a search function.

If someone doesnt have the time to trial and error then they will often move onto something else.Yes I have attacked people out of frustration, and actively tried to encourage/harrass people into helping others. It would really frustrate me when people would find solutions to problems and then not post them. This is what annoyed me more than anything.

I dont know anyone on these boards personally, therefor none of it is personal(except some of the off topic war stuff get me riled occasionally).I dont have anything against you smurf, but If I feel your holding out on me Ill give you a little stick

Probably due to the insane magazine exposure of the mods recently. That and as time goes on more people learn to mod. I seen several examples of some people who used to just play mods and now mod themselves. key0p, at deezire.net people always helped people In that regard nothing has really changed.

why is it that you hate new mods, like every time they start up you try to shut them down and now that too meany have came up you had to find a way to tell them all that you wont do good. it's ok blizt2 will survive even if there is 50,000 other mods so don't worry you need to start helping out too. you are like a over pretective dad.
