Default Skirmish AI editing - the story so-far..

I've been toiling around with the SkirmishScripts.scb using the default map "Fortress Avalanche" as a test bed and have successfully made the Brutal AIs much harder, smarter, and somewhat better expanders!

Current working:
o Builds more than one Hacker/Black Market (working on the USA side to build more than one SupplyDrop - should be done soon!) to supplement late game income!
o Builds awesome base defenses now and supplements them with lots of power!
o Expands very well and reinforces it with multiple static defenses!
o Builds now a minimum of 2 War Factories which are producing major armies now so his attack forces are much more challenging!

To be done:
o Builds more than one Superweapon
o Chinese AI player enables Mines around his important structures.
o Chinese AI player better garrisons his bunkers.
o Tweaks.. tweaks.. and many more!

Any assistance from the AI scripters out there who worked on RA2/YURI mods would be appreciated! I'm loving the results and hoping by week's end to have one fab AI script!

While I myself am still unfamiliar with Generals AI, I am very interested in the progress made here. I will say that often the AI can be augmented by changes made elsewhere... I have noticed the AI seems very lame in replacing lost 'miners', and also, those 'miners' that survive seem unable to locate supplies at any distance. Increase resource scanning distance if possible?

Worse comes to worse it might be advisable to give the AI more to cheat with. For example, USA AI makes a different supply drop than the player does... they look the same, but the AI's supply drop gives more money.

Sigh, I do wish EA had just made good AI from the get-go rather than leave us with another shoddy job to patch up

I'll let everyone know when its done to v1.0! Shouldn't take too long as I feel I'm half way there! Not bad that the game came out mid-late last week and Skirmish AI scripts are already coming out!

Btw.. we won't have to worry about the Skirmish AI having enough money and vehicles.. He now builds multiple Hackers/Black Markets (working to get the USA side to build multiple SupplyDrops but its just a matter of time now) as well as more than 2 War Factories (although two is plenty considering the force he brings into your base! :scared: ) All this is on BRUTAL SKILL as the other two AI levels are childish!

Anyway.. I'm hoping the Deezire Skirmish AI script gods can assist as well as Dezzire v8.x was amazing!

I think it would be for the benefit of all if you made this either open source (you can't lose a thing trough open source) or make a tutorial on the flow (essentially making it open source and adding comments to it )
