Hi there,
My name is 2312222, I am a member of the Cold War Crisis modding team. I guess some of you might have heard of the CWC mod but for those that are not yet informed, I may just introduce it to you:
The basic idea behind Cold War Crisis (or CWC) is to bring the cold war time of 1985 to 1989 back to life with the cold war turned hot. We plan to include three different, all new sides. These are the obligatory US and Russian forces and a European Alliance. Each side has individual abilities and strengths or weaknesses.
Some examples, the US players will be able to rely on a more-than-powerful air force including AH64 Apache helicopters, A10 tank busters and some serious heavy bombers. The Russians on the other hand use tanks and artillery to defeat their enemies. These units include T80's, heavy self-propelled artillery systems as well as theatre ballistic missiles. The Europeans, since quite inferior in military hardware, use spies and intelligence as well as rapid forces to be able to survive against its competitors.
Our team consists of 6 men, these are darky and SFC, our modellers. Widowmaker, the skinner, .COMmunist, our Russian advisor and voice actor, as well as SHADOW, the PR guy that keeps our site running smooth and finally myself, I am coder, or more accurately the guy that gets the units ingame with everything that is needed for that (rigging, boning, coding, animating...).
Well you might ask why I post all this over here, and the answer is quite simple. The CWC mod is looking for a reliable and ambitious skinner that helps out skinning all these great models darky and SFC made as well as an infantry animator. Our skinner does a great job but, as you might guess, he can not keep up with these two high-speed-and-quality modellers
If you want to join a small and effective modding team, in which everyone is a member with equal rights and new ideas are more than welcome, feel free to hop in. If you are experienced with infantry animations or an experienced skinner, please don't hesitate to contact me via PM or email.
I'd be glad to hear some positive answers
