I was just wondering if it is possible to make silos in generals.
silos like the ones in TD and RA where you have to build them if you want more credits.
and i dont want any "no, it's impossible" replies. just replies suggesting ways to do it or get around it.
It *MIGHT* be possible with some very difficult scripting, involving counters and setting the players money if it exceeds the limit. I don't know if it is completely possible or not, and may cause undue drain on the processor.
i think this isnt possible in ini coding...
cause the only thing in the inis which have something to do with money is the buildcost or in the upgrade.ini cost.
have you an code with which you can store Or or something like that in an building?
if yes you could create an invisible truck which transports the or from the silo to the raffinerie. then you could create an button for "use the or" or "store the or".
I thought the silos were the dumb part of the game that we all hated? Silos aren't real with electronic banking. Seriously though. In your mod, please leave out silos. If I could lift one I'd toss it out the window.

The logic is hardcoded in the engine and is not present in Generals`.
Its not possible to trasfer "something" from one building to another in generals.
