Default Mini Map Window - WND Problem or Hardcoded?

I've been Editing the WND's For our TC Mod. I've been Working on Fully Changing the ControllBar.WND.

What i need to know, is, The Mini Map Window Size (On The Controllbar) Hardcoded or is it controlled by the WND file? For example if i wanted to make it bigger or smaller, would i have to edit any of the ini's? (My INI knowledge has lead me to bealieve i dont need to.) Or is the Size hardcoded and it has to stay that size? Or can i simply change the size in the WND file??

If anyone have any answers to these question or "idea's" Post them!!

If Anyone is Curious about changing the Controllbar.wnd file (or any WND file for that matter) and making there own custom controll bar, some pritty groovy things can be done.
As for my question the Map window can be watever size you want.

As for the controll bar as a whole, u can make it anysize, any position, and layout, But as long as you have every element the original one does, otherwise it wont work!

AS for other WND files, you can add your own custon WND files. So if u wanted to have unit spacific upgrades window pop-up, it can be done, or any other crazy window idea's...just as long as you know how to code the related InI files.

If anyone needs some help in regards to the WND files, just ask...

You seem kinda knowledgable, maybe you can answer this? When you press the arrow that hides the ingame GUI, you can no longer see the Mini map... is it possible to leave the mini map visible while the rest of the bar is hidden?

Probably, but I don't know the fine details of it. But the WND files are easy. They are built up by a very solid structure, and once you know one of them, you know them all. So just study them yourself and you'll be able to answer this no problem.

By changing the draw module in the cameo window, you can get the game to draw the 3d model of your unit rather than its cameo - handy for mech or future style mods

TylerD Keeping the Map window kinda Contradicts the whole point of "HIDE THE GUI" button. But to answer you question. Yes it can be done. I played around with something like that. As i pointed out, what would be the point of the "Hide" button if its only hiding half the GUI.

Like ImmoMan said, its not too hard to Lean about the WND files & Once you do there some cool things you can do with them as DeeZire pointed out.
