Default Cinematic spawning

Hello all,
I was hoping for some help please on a new single-player map cinematic and intro, in ZH and using Worldbuilder to script it and test.

The in game cinematic is going to unfold heavy battleship bombardment on four GLA controlled hospitals near a city park. But I am stumped! and cannot seem to locate the awesome pyrotechnical CINE_ which are used in the game’s solo cinematics and intros. For example, I can’t seem to locate these CINE_ objects in WB when trying to script a unit spawn for it:

Spawn unit of type 'CINE_BShipWeaponDetonationObject' on Team 'INTRO_Targets' at waypoint Waypoint 'INTRO_EXP 07'

Spawn unit of type 'CINE_DemoTrapDetonationObject' on Team 'INTRO_Targets' at waypoint Waypoint 'INTRO_EXP 07'

Spawn unit of type 'CINE_CruiseMissileDetObject' on Team 'A' at waypoint Waypoint 'Building 11'

And there are other CINE_ objects I have seen in scripts not my own which I cannot find or use in my own scripts. :cry:

Any ideas what I am doing wrong or missing? How are these, and other, CINE_ pyrotechnics accessed in WB exactly with spawning, I don’t see these in the Edit object parameter dialog.

firstly, nice idea.

secondly, try betting FinalBIG or similar program and extract some of the Generals Challenge maps, and have a look at them, or some of the campaigns, if you know which ones have the right kind of cinematics that you want.

also, if you look in the list when your placing objects, you should see the cine things; I do. Try pressing "c" to jump to things beginning with "c" in the script list as well.

Thanks Prism128, but I have tried that and have found the proper game .map files, and in them is the scripts, the problem is that the CINE_ objects they are using are not in my Edit object parameters dialog so I cannot put it in the scripts, as they somehow are. A puzzle to me still.

For example, are you able to see these CINE_ below in your categories dialog? (If so, what area?)
CINE_BShipWeaponDetonationObject
CINE_DemoTrapDetonationObject
CINE_CruiseMissileDetObject

I am stumped in using these same CINE_ effects in my scripts as the solo maps use them, but I can't determine how to access them.

Do I have to do something or extract some file to see these cool explosive CINE_ objects?

Okay, I found the CINE_ effects I was looking for finally, in the Edit object parameter dialog under GLA > System. I found their place in the object list by extracting and looking at the AmericaMiscUnit.ini file. It had in it that the GLA had those explosion CINE_ effects, which I had no idea they did till today.


NUKE FX Question:
My next question is about my single-player map cinematic. I want to have three nuclear explosions go off at different waypoints, but I do not want to see that big China nuke rocket coming down, I just want the superweapon’s huge explosion, without that rocket falling on the target area.

Is it possible or is that China rocket hard coded into the nuke explosion?
