Well for big trees I was thinking just having a copy of every tree in the game, but with a scale = 2.0, and have them uncrushable by vehicles accept the exceptions (overlord, in our case, AT-AT). Scale of 3.0 would be a bit much. The code is confusing in that there are objects, and "objectreskins"... anyone know how to carry out the effect we are looking for?

why not use pine trees for endor - you could mess about with the skins i guess - but in my opinion they would look about correct:

Yeah, pine trees work work fine! Just make 'em huge... I've had problems with the Scale = x.x though, most of the time it screws up the unit's shadows. Once I tried to scale AAOW's Apache a bit, the rotors would fly around crazily when it moves, and the shadow was screwed up as well. Ugh... :/

But the actual problem : all the trees are Crushable Level=2; and WB says: unknown crushable level .... but the CINE units are at level 2 !

I think we can just use the code of those CINE units and change the objects' name. There shouldn't be any problems,IMO.

Ya, I've noticed weird problems when scaling models via code. Hard to put a finger on it. Lighting/shadow problem I think.
Ah, light red came out as pink. My name is pink, lol. I have no points to fix it either.

I have a solution

When i wanted to resize my Mk V, i resized the 3ds then re-exported to W3d. Somebody (Fellow IA member) sent me a w3d importer for RenX and while i hate RenX, i reckon i could import the Pine Tree, size it up in RenX and re-export.

That should do the trick

Sure you can try that, but that'll take a forever, and add a lot of unneeded "duplicate" files if all we want is a size of 200% for each tree.
