Default Disabling a faction

I'd like to know how to disable a faction from the Skirmish menu, without taking it out of the game entirely. Also, what do you name the actual treads of a unit in gmax to make them move ingame? Thanks!

just open the china dozer for instance and you'll know.

I don't think you understood me... I need the factions to be in the game, but unselectable on the Skirmish menu, like PlayerCivilians.

Anyone on the treads question?

Maybe there is something in the BOSS code as he his there, can fight, but is not selectable.

you thought you could disable a faction by opening the Dozer model ? :P

maybe it has something to do with bosses "side =" i'm stuck in class now cause i'm curious now. I will look later.

Try giving a random faction "side = civilian" or something, see if that does anything.

Maybe you have to name the side = BOSS for it to behave like you want. You can have more than one faction with the same name so that shouldn't conflict. It could be hardcoded that way in ZH.
