Er... how did you manage to export w3d if you dont have renx..? I was gonna say maybe you didnt select export mesh or whatever, but er..?

Hmmmm.... you used 3dsmax to export to w3d? Then you have a shockwave file and not a westwood3d file. They share the same extension. The game engine is not able to load you model.

i get it.. that about shockwave and westwood.. but is there some plugin for 3ds max 6 whitch actually works? cuz i tried something and it doesn't works...

Just get Renx, any plugin for max6 will be unofficial and have less functionality, you need it if youre gonna model, thats pretty much all there is to it. Seeing as you cant seem to get plugins to work you might as well make it easy for yourself

there are only plugins that import W3D files for 3ds max 6,5,4 but there are no W3D exporters for 3ds max. but you can aalways export from 3ds max as a .3ds file and then import that to Gmax to set the W3D setting and then export the final model for the game from there. either way you have to have Gmax with RenX to model for this game.
