Default I can not see my building

I tried to put my building in game, i just replaced Usa HQ with my building with the same name,
i did that just to see how it will look in the game engine, and when i started the game on the place of USA HQ there was only that antena and door on conyard... what seems to be the problem? Tanks....

Also the unit will not be there or self destructs if the side = other than the faction side you are playing with. The radar and stuff only support the HQ so they don't know side which is why they show up and not the structure itself. Check "side=" for a possible solution.

hey i alredy said that i just replaced the model and the name is the same....
And where exactly to find "side=" ? but as i sad i just changed the model it self not the ini-s so dunno how that can be the problem

Is it properly boned? A missing bone can result in the accompaning geometry to be not displayed.

Yes.. that's the problem..... Bones.. u see i have no idea how to put them in the building, cuz building just stands there... and dunno how to animate them...it would be nice if someone can give me a little help here...also it would be good if someone have a link to tutorial or something where i can learn how to bone building...
why u use bones at all when making building?

the bones are used to designate spwn points for other aspects of the building like where the dozers is spawned and where it must move to till its is released by the building as its own unit, some bones are also used for the constuction process,
Most of the bones you can just steal from the original building and then ust move then to better shape your new design.
just spend some time looking at the buildong it is your trying to replace and look at all the name of the bones and you can kinda get an idea of what each bone's purpose is.

how big is your model?

cos i had this problem once where i couldn't see the model because it was SO HUGE that i was actually inside it, and thats why i couldn't see it. is was basically bigger that the game screen.

the best way to check size is to import another building W3D into renx and size it against that. also make sure the building is properly centred on the xyz.

it can also be VERY tiny .. BTW here is a .w3d importer for gmax

thanks for that link but it doesn't work, btw i need .w3d importer for 3ds max 6 if there is one at all...
And a will get gmax and RenX tool soon so i will check all that what u were saying... Thank u all...
