yeah i think we need more information to help you out on this one... what is the arrow pointing to?

do you mean the black shadows?
cos if you mean them that is to do with the SMOOTH option.

you have to...
right click on Perspective (or what ever view) and chose Other->Facets + Highlights. or something without Smooth in it.

i think i see what it is you want to ge rid of, is it the dark shadowing?
if thats it, then im guessing you have the 2 faces which are facing opposite each other, smoothed together.
to get rid of that go the Faces subobject mod and in the Surface propertie tools click on Select by SG. in the popup select all the groups or the one group hit enter then click clear all.

select them and delete them. how else would get rid of them.

Instead of going into the polygon editing mode like you are now, click on the red box just to the right. Now you can select entire planes without deleting the corners.

looks like you have a lot of extra unecessary vertices. are you trying to create this objects with a bunch of planes? a bunch of groups of vertices aligned straight, it what im noticeing.
