Default Small Skinnin QUestion

i created a new aurora skin, lets say i named it X.dds, X_D.dds and X_D1.dds

now i modified the ini in americaair for the aurora
Condition = none
Model = X
etc...

an i imported them to on .big file (That works)

now when i build this aurora nothing appears, i can select it etc...
i know there is an ini file in which i should identify and link X to X.dds etc.. but i cant seem to find it


so plz HELP!

You changed the model to X yet there is no file in the game called X.w3d it recognises th eskin but sees no model for it. That is what I see is wrong though I may be wrong since I don't know muck Gen or ZH codes.

i want to link X to the Aurora W3D,
isnt there a way to do it through ini editing, because i want the superweapon aurora to be different from the ordinary one but only through skin not models,

Isnt there a way 2 do it like the mapped images?

I would say just make a copy of the Aurora W3D then rename the copy to X and it should work

ok, it seems i didnt explain well enough!
the texture for the aurora is AVAurora.dds

i got a w3d model called AVAurora_SW.w3d and AVAurora_SWD.w3d

and i designed textures called X.dds X_D.dds and X_D1.dds i.e rubble

how do link them together through ini
and where do i enter the entries so that the Alpha aurora uses the X textures and not the AVAurora?

you'll need to import the W3d into RenX and change the textures manually

No skins are determined by models. Do you not have means to change them?

i have already made the skin

my intentions are to make the Alpha aurora have a different skin than ordinary ones
i thought it can be done through simple INI Editin
