Default Model geometry

I'm having a problem with a few of my front mission mech models walking inside each other or walking through each other in game.

Is this solved with collision detection in renx or is it geometry in the mech's ini code? They fire and animate like i want but they just walk through each other which doesn't look good. :/

Yeah, its the geometry code which you need. Just set the radius to about.. 15? Possibly, depending on the size of your mech.

How should you sett the geometry? is there an option somewhere so you can "see" the geometry? I feel the geometry is ... guesswork ...

The way I normally do it is to load up the model in RenX, making sure it is the right scale and everything, and then checking the XYZ co-ordinates which are shown somewhere along the bottom bar I believe. (eg. move your mouse to the egde of the model, keeping it on one of the main axis so you should get something like X:0.00, Y:19.15, Z:0.00, and then you use 20 as your radius. You can also use that to find the object creation co-ordinates needed for barracks, war-factories, etc.

Bleh... why make it easy, when you can make it the difficult way?

select the object
Rightclick on the object and pick "properties"
Dimensions , faces etc are displayed.

In the case you got a unit composed of multiple parts, make a box around it, and then do the same thing as above on the box...
