The Great War is No More!
Squire James informs me that his mod The Great War(WW1 TC) will no longer be developed due to time on his part as well as dedication.
Squire couldn't get any dedicated people(coders especially) to work so he gave up. Tis sad for such a good looking mod that had so many good models to go to waste.
Squire now plans to work heavily on Imperial Assault.

No!  All those great civilian models... any chance they will donate soem of those to other mods like Blitz2? I hate to see them go to waste!

I had to take a shower, so Jugg offered to post this for me. But yep its true.
I'm tired of the competition with TW. Doesn't do either of us any good. Along with the workload from College, the stress of the rivalry was, as they say, "the straw that broke the camels back".
I think the best man won, Uruk
@PCteen. I'm sorry but i won't be releasing any TGW models. It would be a unwanted reminder of failure everytime i saw em in game with another mod.

Dude you should seriously release those models so all of your time on the mod was not wasted. And if you release it your models your mod would never have been a failure.

There was a competition? Your mod looked like it had 20x the amount of work done than the other one (which I barely even noticed existed), not to mention far superior quality than the other.
As far as not finding a coder, you should be more patient. Typically when I put out a call for a modeler or something it takes a few weeks (if not months) to find a good one to hire.

Well i'm sorry this happened. Your models were really outstanding.
Instead of basing your success on the mod you should have been happy with the great models you created, hell i'm as happy as Bill Clinton at a cigar store when one of my models looks good.
