Default Does aircrafts have wheels?

kinda silly question ....

I am modeling an aircraft. I have made it with wheels and stuff, butt when I was starting to look at animation I got puzzled.

My wing is just a "plane", so there is no room for a wheel in them. So I'm not sure about having wheels comming in/out of the aircraft.
Any ideas?

Or are the aircraft so small that wheels is just a silly thing anyway?

some of my aircraft dont have the wheel animations (bird of prey) because they are simply too small and would look aquard or atleast we are lazy atm and dont want to bother with landing gear

try adding it in game, and see if the wheels show up (and look good). If so keep em, but if not deleting them will save on the polycount

The wheels of a Eurofighter tucks into the the main body of the aircraft.

And remember guys, aircraft can have animations on take off and landing. Take Second Wave's Tornado for example. I had this idea to use the animations for landing gear, it looked real nice but no-body seemed interested, arguing "Well, you wont be able to see them", trust me, you can!

Also played with that idea back then, with my Go229...

Takeoff is is rather obvious, but I haven't found a conditionstate that allows you to lower landing gear before landing..

What conditionstate do you use for landing?

Taxiing? also, one could use the tire rotation thing to animate small rotors on a hover/air unit if the pivots were positioned right, creating spinning props when the vehicle is moveing, but not while still.

I know where the wheels go, thats ok ... but since my wing is a 2-3poly "plane", then there is no room for anything there ...

So either I change the wing to have space in it for the landing gear, or...
I can play the animation to fold in (just under the wing), then hide the gear while in air...
