Default My new models

Was wondering about what you think about these models, do they look ok?

They are not optimized, not animated, not uv, not skinned ... So if you think anything about these models should have any changes ... this is the time.

Marder 1 IFV + Marder Roland ( divided amongst 2 vehicles )

MCV80 Warrior

Leopard 2A6 - fixed an earlier made model

ATV - "all terrain vehicle - used as recon bike"

they are ok but there's one thing i must notice... on some places the shadow looks pretty odd cuz u probably moved polygon that u aint suppose to move in that way... u must watchout for this cuz ur models will look realy bad wen u put 'em into the game...
and don't worry everything else is ok, they are good...

not bad, the warrior looks a bit flat though, the hull top was higher than that

najzlijiji: could you please elaborate... I'm not sure if I understand you. It wouldn't suprise me if I have done any mistakes, cause I have created these models quite fast...

killakanz: mmmm flat ... I don't think I have had the best pictures for modeling, and I have to admit I don't think it looks quite right myself... I have seen one of those myself, but it is a long time ago. Is it the chassi or the turret you want higher?

thx for coments by the way

Chassis, just a bit, turret, definatly.

For reference, try searching for MCV-80 rather than Warrior

btw, click for bigger images, these thumbs are very distorted

well u see when u move verteces u can get this bug cuz if for example u try to move the corner vertex of the cube.. and then u get polygon broken to half and have that ugly shadows.. like this
and here u can see what i was saying about your models

:tard:
That has nothing to do with moving vertices or bad modelling and everything with model changes that cause rearrangements in the smoothing groups.
All you need to do is to go into sub-object mode, select all polygons and hit the automatic smoothing again. It will re-compute the smoothing of the model based upon it new topology.

If after that you still have dark areas, then there is indeed a modelling problem, mostly caused by an inversed face or an internal additional face. The last ones are hard to spot and are usually caused by incorrect extrusions of edges.
