Default Disabling generals in skirmish play

How can I disable certain factions in the skirmish select screen? simply using PlayableSide = No in PlayerTemplate.ini isn't enough it seems.

You can always remove the faction entirely but that is a little to drastic.

Hmm... "PlayableSide = No" should of done it. I didn't find anything else that does it.
Where did you put the modified PlayerTemplate.ini?
It should be in: (generals/zh folder depending on which one)\DATA\INI

I'm using a custom .big file and it is saved as Data\INI\PlayerTemplate.ini

I thought of removing it entirely but then I think I would have to make new ini files for all the deleted teams structures and units so the game wouldn't crash reading the old ones with sides that no longer existed.

could just copy the observer side and rename it to the orginal facton name and side=

I ran into a similar problem when I was trying to enable the boss general, and I don't really know what PlayableSide= actually does

anywayz, I can't remember what I changed to make it work, but I'll check in a little while

EDIT: It seems that the boss gen and my useable version of it are almost identicle, so I removed the few differences and it was still useable... :/ maybe it has to do with the name of the faction

I don't think you'll get any errors if you just seicoloned the sides you want to remove though as long as you leave one playable faction left

this way if you ever wanted to reenable them you could just unsemicolon them
