I want to create a superweapon that once built, stays active and when a superweapon is launched (with Particle Cannon as exception) it automatically uses its laser to destroy the missiles. i.e. someone fires a Scud Storm and the laser blows all the missiles up as they leave the ground.
well I'd say make a huge paladin point defence laser ... with only target types those missles.
just make a useless, but cool looking , building and give it the point defence laser.

The issue would be terrain blocking line of sight - although the laser would hit them as soon as they did become visible. I think there's also a maximum weapons range in Generals if I'm not mistaken (although it is obscenely huge)
and you should make it antiprojectile in weapon.ini, so it can shoot scudmissile and nuclearmissile down, also you need to delete the UNATTACKABLE kindof from them
You could build Laser Emitter [insert cool word] around the base that would protect you instead of one huge SW. But you would need a central building of course.
well, maybe a SW wich turns of the power for each other SW, maybe an Spacial Defensive Laser Platform, wich also destroys the sattelite wich reflects the particle beam.

myeah what angel says an huge paladin point defence with an fxlist.ini of the perticle cannon and then i will works incl it can bring down tomahawks and normal rockets of infantry
