right let me sort this out for you guys it is a new game it will have its own install directory completely seperate from the generals 1.

You will NOT need generals installed to play it. Howeva you will need a generals disk to start the game thefore not giving the sage engine away and not brakeing the law. The owner of the game will be talking it over with E.A and it may evan be relesed officaly

First off let me set some things stait.
1. It does not need Generals or Zerohour installed to play it has its own installation.

2. I'm not breaking any law I'm using the sage in and in no way have decomplied any code or broken any laws in which I could be fined.

3.If anything I'm going to sell it to EA or get permission to do so within curtain cluases.

4.Everything but the sage engine is mine as all current models and textures have copyrights on them including the movies. So all that is EA's in the first place is the engine nothing else and I own the copyrights so if they wanted it they would have to buy it from me.

5. To avoid breaking the law if I never get permission to sell it I will ensure that the General/Zero disk is still needed to play ( note the game does not need to be installed just the disk needs to be in the drive.) and by doing that you still do not get generals or zero hour in any was because all that they were no longer exists and that is too the extream all code is replaced(ini) all textuers(all of them) no old models will exists aka everything and I do mean that is new. Also full length CGI movies will relplace the droll crap that is there now It will be remade to just like the Origenal CnC will movies that tell the story unlike General/ZeroHour.

6. If you wish to believe it just a mod fine I don't care live in your little worlds but this will be more different then counterstrike is from halflife. You can have new game but use the same engine. And I will do nothing without EA permission so there will be no public beta's if released it will be a completed full version with its own installion and addional software included with it. So just setting the record strait. One last thing... Not only is what I'm doning legal it is also in EA's intrest that I'm doing this.

ok, so it needs generals to play. Its a mod. Call it whatever you like, it will always be, at best, an indepth total conversion.

I could easly change that do it runs with no disk, it uses nothing from the cd beside the check to ensure its you have a non copied disk. If I make it run without the disk however that is illagal because I would be hacking into compiled code and by time it is done if given permission it will require its own disk not generals.

TC end of story it is a mod for Generals:ZH and always will be you cant deny it you cant go around it you are making a TC for Gen:ZH and that is just the fact....

It does not need generals to play only the disk so that it reconizes that the software is not copied Generals the game has nothing to do with Crimson Dawn.

I don't need to go around it. TC's do not have all the graphics and data copyrighted they do not completly relace all files not just code or graphic everything that is, they keep the same ground textures and the orgenal files from generals still exist they no long do that if as said before when crimson dawn is done it very well could have its own disk and be for sale in reatile stores so until the end it finilized you can't say its not a new game it does not modify generals it's own entity and I have the software knowledge to get it to run all by its self with no "generals or zero hour installed"

But I really don't care to discuss this matter futher people should just be able to enjoy it for what it is and what it will be.
