gmax and renx autobackups the models when its crashing

You could try to update all your drivers to their newest versions, no matter what the driver is for, and close or disable all running programs, background or forground.

well, i'm finding alot of the autobackups to be corrupted. it's not a huge thing, but fustrateing. as far as i know, i've done the usual with driver updates and minimal things running already.

Well, it's not completely buggy.

I agree it does crash sometimes, but it's workable.

Hmm... RenX has crashed on me 2 times ...

... so there is something awfull wrong with your windows, or drivers, or something else. Nobody else complain. RenX is quite good actually

Depends on what you are doing.I can crash it out quite often.Just save your work often, use the incremental save feature(the "+" button when you save).

Check discreet's site because there was something there about one of the updates to windows xp interfearing with gmax and thus renx, and causeing corruptions in saved files.

Of al the screwy prgrams I use that crash ReX isn't one of them so I would think that some driver needs update or some patch.
