Default Prism Tank Laser Weapon [WIP]

Hey I am back to this site once again and have a nice little video showing a WIP of the prism tank weapon effect.

Just needs some tweaks to get it to look correct. I will be releasing code on how to do the effect once its finished. I will try and keep you updated on its progress.

I assume you used the fire weapon collide module on a projectile to create the other lasers when the main laser hit the unit and that you used the scatter code from scud storm or rocket pods to make the other lasers go in random directions.
If you didn't do it that way then how did you do it?
Well anyway congrats, and by the way above was how I did it.

The only thing with using the projectile is that you can't have the beams reflected reflect again because of the scatter code, unless the fire weapon collide module can be used on a laser weapon.

Thats the only way i know of to get it to create the spawned lasers. ATM its using a primary for main laser and secondary for projectile. If there is an easier way then I would like to know. Only flaw in my code is timing for projectile and main laser can get messed up if you target ground then target a unit/building.

Set both the same for everything except damage and have them share weapon reload times.

NICE now not so sure if you can but could you try to make the first laser a litle bigger so it is more reminicent of ra2 anyways congrats on a job well done

Will be doing that just first need to make sure it all works the best it can then do tweaks to it.
