Default New tutorial at killasmods, no it's not a l33t conversion...

A brand spanking new tutorial has just gone up at killasmods. Hostile's guess on Wednesday was bang on, it is on basic model animation!

oh, and before you say it, yes the news page is down. This is due to a forums upgrade at revora, nothing I can do about it right now...

I skimmed through the tut and as Killa said it is on basic animation. You will not be able to animate infantry (and having it look decent at least) with this tutorial alone. You need knowledge of the wwskin modifier. Check out OldFaq's infantry tutorial and the Frankenstein tutorial that is on these boards somewhere.

Implement them? Export the correct animation frame length and use the Animation = (samemodelname.samemodelname) and AnimationMode = (LOOP, ONCE, LOOP_BACKWARDS, ONCE_BACKWARDS are some of the possible choices)

the implementing i can handle. it's the exporting/settings.
i may just be missing somethign right in front of my face, but my test of it this morning even with proper ini bits for it, yeilded no movement, so i'm assumeing the animations were not included in the export.

I was kinda hoping for an infantry animation tut too(I'm really, really bad at infantry animations)

This is good to though... helps you understand the basics
