btw, could someone explain to me once again how can I get a model from gmax to 3ds max?

and does the w3d import work?

For you PCTeen, I will walk you through it

click on this link http://www4.discreet.com/3dsmax/3dsmax.php?id=403# then near the top of the page it says in bold red Download a full version.CLick it, you will be taken to a registration form, jsut fill it out then click submit, and you will be sent an email.Read that email, and click on the link in it to goto the 3D Studio Max 6 downlaods page.

Both coolfiles and seagles script work with gmax and 3dmax.If you want the model to go from gmax to 3dmax then export it as w3d and import it to 3dmax

An easier way than using the import/export scripts is just to use .3DS format, it can be read by both gmax and Max 6.

yes, but you can't export 3ds from gmax and all my models are gmax files...
