Default for once, a simple question *phew* :P

ok so once i made my model saved it as .W3D(assumedits compleatly ready to be in generals) all i would need to do is put it in the generals/art/w3d folder right, i would not have to extract everthing from w3d.big would i??? (please tell me if ur just passing by, i dont have the .w3d file yet but it would sure give me peice of mind.

All you need to do is drop the W3d file in "art/w3d".

Any new textures you have on your model would need to be put in "art/textures", I believe.

is that like the skin, and then when the skin is all beat up, or if i make a new building and its in a snowey area i wuld have to make a skin (some one but with ice on it) am i right??,(thanks my man )

yup, that's exactly it. Any new skins (textures ) need to be put in that dir and you'd need to re-skin the model for snow/damaged states etc.
