ok well im not in a greement. for the price it is not worth it. if we where to pump that much money into the typhoon, with how much more efficient we've made it for the price u would see a much beter craft than the raptor. but we dont like to make our crafts that expensive anymore.
also yes lets say 2 clone pilots at each other. the one in the raptor would on average lose every 5th time. but you dont compare craft like that. you compare it against every other craft. and the raptor does only 10% better than the typhoon. so for realistic useage the raptor is 10% at 200% the price. this is what im arguing about.
also it was found that the american troups are given 'battle enhancing drugs' that resemble lcd, speed and cocaine (ok yeah morphene is a type of cocaine but closer to street drug cocaine). The idea is that these drugs make the soldiers less afraid since wel... they think they can fly basicaly. but it also makes them gun ho. this probably explains the friendly fire rate. which has brought around the government thinking of not using these drugs.
also on the realistic figures. the typhoon was compared to the raptor and the raptor the typhoon. so take those out of the equation and the typhoon is only about 2% less effective.
also on the british, american pilot thing. they took standar pilots from both sids of the atlantic and did the same tests. the britsh pilots won on average 5% more often.
also i've seen footage of your navy seal marines training. where their training leaders told them they will never be as good as these guys(whilst the guy holds up a picture of the british para squad.). and well their not really our best. although they do have pretty amazing winning stats. dropped behind enemy lines, out numbered usualy 10-1 but have a winning percentage of about 90%. thats pretty insane
