I know I should leave it, but this is just so incorrect its amazing. How can you possibly believe the only British deaths in Iraq were friendly fire?

because they were, in the wartime, not the peace keeping days, hes talking about the invasion, the war, 'shock awe', anyway it was proven and the U.S. forces even admited to it, either way, it was a mistake, that should'nt have happend, whenever i made a modding mistake it always ended up somehow turning into a dick :P LOL

those accidents were technology conflicts, and were quickly corrected.
several Brit, and French fighters use the same radar as some of he Iraqi aircraft. makes it hard to distinguish between friend and foe. No one thought of that problem till after it happened.

actually, that thing about all brit deaths being due to friendly fire is not entirly true. There was one case of brit firing on brit when a challenger 2 accidently fired on and destroyed another challenger 2 on the streets of basra, and then when those 2 helicopters crashed into eachother. Apart from that all other brit deaths before Bush declaired the war over was at the hands of the Americans

um pestilence if u didnt know, b4 we went into iraq with tropps we bombs all of there run ways. they didnt have any planes???
plus they used mig 29's not tornadoes. and the missile fired was fired manualy due to the patriot system being down at the time.
the american who fired it had to have seen the plane first. and well migs look quite a bit different from a tornado.
and yes i meant during war time not peace time. we have also recieved a formal letter of appology on behalf of your president so it isnt an exageration or untrue.
but anyway we're all friends here lets put this behind us and move on. i mean we have to thank you guys for 2 world wars anyway.

Dude Scythe I was out there, you dont need to see an aircraft to see its Radar. Many of todays fighter aircraft radar have a range of 160 miles.
today american and allied pilots are trained to fire at first contact, that mean before you see the enemy visually and when you first pic them up on radar.
Mig 29 radar looks a lot like tornados, thats why americans a couple of times fired on allied planes.
