Default Headlights material

I'm frustrated. I can't find the proper material settings for headlights to show up properly. Instead I only get white or semi-transparant geometry. What blending mode do I use?...
I imported a supply truck but it's headlights material is just plain opaque. With these settings it doesn't work when exported.
Argh.

Imported materials are not correct because you can't alter their properties through scripting. You can use wdump to find out what kind of properties you need. The supply truck headlights material has the following properties (only listed what is not default):

Specular: 255 255 255
Emissive: 255 255 255
Blend Mode: Alpha Blend
Texture: Lightbeam.tga

For some reason one of the headlights is two sided while the other one is not.
