Help with weapon
basicly is there a way i can make a SCUDmissile follow and HIT a target without missing or have the same behaviour as a stinger and not miss??? or even a tommahawk without having to change the missile itself, any clues??
(come on half of you have made kickass mods help me out here)

if you want it to follow the target than you have to go to WeaponObjects.ini, and add this to the Missile AIUpdate
TryToFollowTarget = Yes

which strikes me as funny, as scuds have a pretty bad reputation for being less than accurate. let alone seeking.

yes but out of all of the missiles its the only one that slighty resembes a SA-2 missile

Isn't SA-2 the S-75?.. The Volga (NATO's "Guideline"), right?.. Man, SCUD missile is too far away from being like S-75, I believe... It's shorter, thicker and has only 4 stabilizers, when Volga has 8 (2 quads)... I believe only SA missile that looks like SCUD's missile is the missile of older S-300's (SA-10 "Grumble")... However newer S-300's (PMU2 modification, the "Favorite") has alredy new missiles that also have 8 stabilizers. What am I trying to tell is that if you want to get S-75 ingame, you better model it yourself... I know that's hard, but there's nothing you really need for it except time and will to do it... All programs needed for it are free and you can learn to do it from this site's tutorials section... Actually I am learning by those tutorials now, and once I'm finished I'm planning to make a "Tunguska" (SA-19 Grison) model, and I really think it is not that hard...

i dont know odeling is jsut so damn hard adn even when i do do it how am i gonna make the missile have, im learing right now how to put lets say i have the modles how to make them all behave shoot die how i would want them to, plus i have a 56K imma die of old age before i get to downlaod gma and renX

bah, don't be so lazy, I have a 56k and I've downloaded Gmax and RenX, it doesn't take that long (my 56k does prevent me from downloading TCs though)
I understand you are learning, we were all there once, and there is only one way to do that
when you say you want the missile to shoot and die, do you mean kinda like a cluster bomb? cause I think somebody wrote a tut on that

Heh, I'm also on 56k. Find a download resuming program (like the old Gozilla!), and you can download it part by part, like what I does ^_^
