Ideas to dispell! (Construction methods)
(think tib sun mod for zero hour)
Con yard shoots within its range a weapon of some sort that ends up with a building under construction that is at 0%, you send unit to finish constructing it.
(variant of above) Like a yuri miner, somehow engineers (or one) comes out of con yard and does the actual building that the con yard started.
Another idea
Somehow you make it so the construction unit has to keep going back to the con yard a few times durring construction, but only is actually making progress when he is at the site.
(in addition to above) The more engineers/dozers you have on the job, the faster it gets done.
Please give feedback on the usefullness of these methods (or negatives) and also if they are possible/what can be done.

Both of the above seem like extremely groovy ideas. The first has some potential, but I think the second is even more tactically sound, with the need for you to defend your supply lines.
Unfortunately, the first seems sort of feasible, although I'm not sure how you'd do it, and the second sounds very much impossible to me

the the first one is possible , BUT
you cannot create an building that is at 0% when you want to shot the building...
if you want that the building comes out of the ground you must use the good ol dozer logic...
mine works but with my method i can only "shot" or build "complete" buildings...

hmm.. make the con yard a "dozer" with all the buildings avalible, but obviously no way to get there, then have your constuction units have the dozer property, but none of the buildings in thier command set. this way the building will place the unbuilt building, but you'll need to use a constuction unit to finish it. (you could have engineer units who complete buildings and repair, but arent true dozers.)

Going with your first idea and with juLLe's also...
Would it be possible to make a CommandButton that starts a super weapon charging (as in you click on the button to start the building process) then when it is charged you can "shoot" the complete building?
That way you would have a method of building similar to old fashioned Strategy games

i solved it by using an upgrade button...
then commandset upgrade triggerd by the upgrade...
the button fires an dummy ....
it has an maximum firerange....
and then if the dummy-projectile dies i use an ocl which is triggerd by the upgrade...
the only problem is how to delete the player_upgrade ...
i must use an player_upgrade cause the projectile cant use the object_upgrades of the conyard....
and if this would work the commandset would be ready for the next building...
come on guys we MUST solve this problem ...
many TD or Redalert mods would be thankful if we would solve it....

This is already solved someone has it already but i dunno who i have seen it
or use an flying object that cant be seen and distroyed and let him build the construcktions

Hold on a sec guys, this is for TS Rising am I correct (just assuming since it's the only big TS mod I know of)
Well, building construction in the older C&C games was pretty much instant when you placed the building, it just took a while to buy it, surely it's not impossible to have the construction method like that, considering it's still how vehicles & upgrades are purchased...
Or is that going to be a last resort kinda thing and you're just trying to go for some variety here?
