Default Day/Night Cycles

I was just wondering if it would be possible to have day/night and/or weather cycles in a level...

...Think of the tactical advantage of building up a stealthy army at night then rushing when the enemy least expects it

Or if it starts to snow, unit speeds are decreased, or if the sun brightens, increasing the output of solar power plants?

Dunno about Generals/ZeroHour but there where maps that had day/night cycles for RA 2...

No it can't be done, well it proberly can by using a light system on the map that just fads on and off but the models ingame wont change from day to night so it will look really really doggy.
