Default Need help with structure stuff

Right, okay, I want a structure with an underground base which which units can drive on but units cannot drive through the part peeking out fo the ground.

As far as I know, this is not possible but is there a way to replicate it, have two structures, one the base (which I need unit passable, how would I do that?) and the second the structure.

Would there be a way to spawn the base as soon as the structure is created?

Would there be a way to make the base do what the structure does because I would prefer to make it unselectable, you see my scenario is this has got to do with defining a CY like structure and I need the base to build not the structure but I wish to select and place from the structure not the base.

Isn't it just a matter of defining a W3D file with different meshes, with the "passable" mesh with the appropriate properties set? and Vice-Versa for the impassable mesh?
