Default Produce multiple units at the same time from a structure...

Ok, here's the deal... I'm trying to produce an infantry 'squad' from my barracks which consists of multiple guys:
3 of infantry type 1,
1 of infantry types 2, 3 & 4.

A total of 6 units, 4 different ones. Is there any way to make them come out of my barracks and go to the rally point?

I can do it another way (invisible object that creates the objects on die) but I don't want to use that method unless I really have to.

Many thanks for any help guys

(Edit: corrected multiple spelling mistakes :P)

This would depend on how you want to control the units. If you want to control the squad as one unit, you could do that by using the Mob Logic and a spawn template. Otherwise, I don't know if it's possible to easily produce multiple infantry. I would guess you might be able to work it with some type of OCL on the barracks or something similar.

I want it to be possible to build a warfactory that has 2 gates, and you can essentially build units from either gate. It would act more as a armoury, and when you want to use some of your surplus tanks, you just order them and they roll out, but really its a warfactory with two doors.

I wouldent mind if somehow when you build it, it constructs two warfactorys side by side, and when one blows, the other one does too, or its rubble stays there until the other one is gone too.

Answering the first question, I guess it is possible to build multiple units of the same type, like Red Guards that come out in pairs, but I guess for different units the mob logic is the only solution. However that effectively means that you won't be able to control those 6 units separately.

Avenger: the two red-guards you get are set by a "production count" property or something similar, using that method, you can only create multiple units that are the same

W3bDevil, that's what I was saying... You can produce only one kind of units that way...

Hey, I've got an idea! What if you look into the tunnel network's code?.. I mean it creates two RPG-troopers when it is constructed, right?.. What if your barrack creates the infantry#1, that creates infantry#2, that creates infantry#3 etc?.. That might just be what you needed..

I know i'm late replying to this thread, but Full Circle, I know how to do the multiple troops from the barracks if you haven't found a solution yet. I even have it working. Good idea if I might say. Reply & I'll post the full code.

You know, since this topic is somehow alive, you could just give it angry mob logic and give SlavesHaveFreeWill = Yes to a dummy object containing them.
