I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't mind seeing a helicopter gunship in the GLA. Considering their skill in acquiring ex-Soviet equipment, I would suggest either the Mi-24 Hind (my personal favourite; chaingun, rocket pods, antitank missiles. Plus passenger capacity for 8 troops and enough armour to stop most stuff smaller than a RPG or SA-13) or possibly a Ka-72 (not as heavily armoured, no troop carrying; armed with a chaingun and rocket pods). The rockets would be the buggy rockets (after buggy ammo upgrade), antitank missiles would be much like those on the comanche (though both that and the Hind really need more range; Hellfires (Comanche) and AT-4 Saggers/AT-6 Spirals (Mi-24) both have a slight edge in range on stingers as used in stinger sites. The chaingun for all choppers would be the same one that's on the Comanche now (with anti-air capability if possible). On the Hind, the antitank missiles and rockets would toggle like anthrax and explosive warheads on the scud do. A palace (or possibly a black market) would be required to produce them, most likely. May need a helipad too if the arms dealer doesn't work (probably a converted USA supply dropzone).

Unfortunately, I'm completely inept at arty stuff, even with computers; I can barely get a straight line right. Is anyone working on something like this, or preparing to? Please let us know here if you are.

it would be cool but would GLA really be able to afford a such expensive thing as choppers? actually how much does a hind cost? Who makes it for them? and would that country willingly sell it to anybody, and if that anybody is a pair of terrorists? im my view they would just stick to old ww2 fighters with machine guns and 1 bomb for economical reasons.

Hmm I like the Idea of a GLA Airforce... but execution would be tricky.. let me dig into my think Tank and see what would fit the GLA side... hmm... It would have to be low tech essiantally.... swift... often suicidal or long range... hmmm

hmm.. i think one of those propeler airplanes would be nice! they could also be upgraded (seperatley) to make a stinger soldier or a machine gunner ( similair to the technical) sit at the back. that would be sweet!

I think the GLA should get a small propeller plane that could spray Anthrax (Infantry) and have a (suicide) bomb on board to crash into vehicles and buildings. I always thought that a suicidal plane would fit the GLA. Fairly cheap and very weak armor.

The idea of using a 'Crop Duster' to spray anthrax on enemy bases etc has been suggested on the Official Boards. Not sure the environmentalists would like that one though

Someone should make a plane maybe an old ww2 propeller dive-bomber(beause their cargo plane is propeller ww2) With two bombs (you can choose anthrax bombs or high explosive bombs like the scud) and then a ww2 fighter with machine guns or missiles to take aa and the bomber take tanks and infantry. This would fit in GLAs budget and the crop duster would actually be too good. Think that someone drops anthrax as large as a carpet bombing run and every infantry there die. It would be as good as anthrax bomb and still be a normal plane instead of 5 star sciencepower and that would be unbalanced. or you have to make it cost nearly more that the Aoura and then who would use it?
