Energy mod is going to fail so good if this is how all its units are done. This Hind is over 3000 polys.

But....

Select all the verticies in the object and weld with the range at 0.000001, that fixed the shadow errors everytime it happened to me.

this is the only unit with ANY problems in the mod Waspo thats why we fretting about it soo much....we have TRIED welding it before (first thing we did) and didnt help a bit I am guessing we will have to redo the Hind completely BUT the problem in that is why have no modelers to do that atm.....Also though it is high poly it has no problems ingame except for the bad modeling job which has caused the shadow bleed. Geesh you people should give the SAGE engine more credit....

I don't expect it would have any problems in game besides the shadowing error. But lets see a player have 20 of these and then attack his enemy online, I bet you it will slow the game down.

It would most likely be fine with 20, normal computers won't feel a difference untill its in the hundreds.

I might be able to give you the hind for some return favor of making a few particle effects for our mod (when, if we'll need them).

The model on this pic has 512 polys at the moment. If you want it i'd need info on what weapons should it have. The chaingun at the front and the rocket pods under the wing in same style as they were on your hind model? I can make it in a few days as i am busy with other stuff aswell.

btw what's the poly limit, does it need landing gear?

Hi talk to me on MSN I added you, I think I can help you with particle systems

also I have stormed evermies with many of them and yes no lagg problems.....the game can handle much more than most people give it credit for....now if you are on some 800mhz GeForce2 64mb computer than hell yes you will have lagg but thats to come with having a slow comp anyway....
