Superweapon for Russia (mod:RotR)
Hi everyone,
I'm theliberator one of the coders for Rise of the Reds.
We are currently working on the Superweapon for Russia. Our idea was to use an oversized atillery cannon!
I've coded in the model and the animations, no problem.
The problem is, that I don't know if and how a turret beaviour can be combined with the Superweapon logic (I've used the NeutronMissile code)!
Can anybody provide some help??

Theoretically
Don't use a super-weapon... per se
Instead create a building with a public timer that has a regular weapon, but a hideously long reload time and range, essentially a massive firebase really
Get it so that the "fire" button also resets the timer, that should be possible

Ask the guys at CNC:Holland, or download it and look at their ini's...they have a huge gattling cannon superweapon.

well you could also make it like a the scud storm the scud storm uses a weapon that is conected to a ocl which is created by the special power of the button too launch the scud storm
if you use that logic you might even be able to make the turret turn into the dirrection of where it is going too fire i'm not sure becouse i never tried anything like that myself but in theory it should
