Yup, it's true... annouced just 4 days ago, there will be an Act of War game, developed by Eugen Systems. Well, it's actually called Act of War: Direct Action, and it has no relation to my mod. Here's the scary part though. The following qoutes are taken from a Gamespot first-look article:
"Act of War is a real-time strategy game that will feature a near-futuristic techno-thriller storyline"
AAOW (my mod) features a near-futuristic thriller storyline featuring Iraq (and more TBA)....
"The only locale that we got to see for ourselves was a very detailed re-creation of Washington, DC, which, although not entirely accurate, could easily be used as a tour guide map for the city. It featured instantly recognizable museums, galleries, monuments, and suchlike. Washington, DC, will actually be the final locale that the story-driven single-player campaign takes you to..."
My AAOW will feature a mission in downtown DC.... :scared:
"...you'll be playing both as the modern-day US Army and as the "Task Force Talon," an antiterrorist unit with access to experimental and near-futuristic weaponry. We got to see a number of different units in action during our demo, including some accurate re-creations of the US Army's Paladin and Abrams tanks and the Apache helicopter."
My AAOW features the Paladin Artillery, Abrams tank, and Apache as well... :tard:
"Details on the third faction in the game, the terrorists, are being kept under wraps for the time being"
Ahhh... I can't say why that's similar at this time...
"There will be some intriguing new features in the game, such as the ability to capture POWs that can be detained to earn you extra resources. On the flip side, if you're looking to locate enemy forces on the battlefield, you can pump your POWs for information."
Now this REALLY scares me!

This is straight from an in-team production manual for MY AAOW:
POW Truck
Purpose: Prisoner Of War Acquisition
Iraq’s steady stream of prisoners relies on the use of a specialized truck designed specifically for stunning enemy combatants, capturing them, and returning them alive to an Iraqi Prison. The POW Truck is also used to transport the prisoners from the Prisons to the Torture Chambers and Execution Centers.
Iraq will use POWs in many ways as well, it's a huge part of the side.
So tell me, should I contact my lawyers?
