here u might find this usefull,

this is for the weapon in weapons.INI

AntiAirborneVehicle = Yes
AntiAirborneInfantry = Yes
AntiGround = No

and this is for the FranctionUnit.INI

WeaponSet
Conditions = PLAYER_UPGRADE
Weapon = PRIMARY HumveeGun
Weapon = SECONDARY HumveeMissileWeapon
Weapon = TERTIARY HumveeMissileWeaponAir
PreferredAgainst = TERTIARY AIRCRAFT
End

you see the bit saying "PreferredAgainst = TERTIARY AIRCRAFT" that is what u want' hope it was helpful

Thats not what I mean. What I want to know is how would you get the FX to fire from a particular bone, not just make it fire from the ground. Since it is not a laser you can't specify a bone in the weapon.

well i found it fires from the defult weapon bone on some vehicles, have u tried it to see whereit fires from?

I have that stuff in the code already, more often than not thedefensive guns work properly, it only goes odd & fires all 3 at one target if it's the only thing in range of the guns

I believe on the Paladin it declares a bone and defines it as the bone to fire the laser from.

And thankyou, Ali, you just answered the question I was having regarding a system of my own I was going to be making. It's part of my mod... data will be released later.

The Paladin defines the bone through the weapon (laserbone), and this can only be used on lasers. For other weapons it is specified in the unit itself but only the PRIMARY, SECONDARY, and TERTIARY weapons. The weapon specified in the pointdefenselaserupdate is neither.
