After many months of working on An Act of War with no clear goal, some in-team discussion has led to this:
Here's that big announcement, everyone! As of today, An Act of War is moving up, officially becoming a total conversion! Why? Because, simply, we can! We have an amazing amount of talent on the team, and we all wanted to do the best possible job on An Act of War. What does this mean? Well, here's the second part of the announcement: An Act of War will now feature three, not two, new sides! As of now, here is the official side list:
The United States
Iraq
North Korea
North Korea will be one of the most unique sides available, specializing in covert ops, infantry, and amphibious assault tactics. New multiplayer maps will feature a unique jungle and mountainous battle area. But, for the meantime, the concentration remains on the 1.1 patch, and the 2.0 release with Iraq. Good things are coming! =) I've got some great new MP maps for ya, along with tons of info and some pics of Iraq, that's all coming up soon! Remember, we can always use more help! As of right now, we're currently looking for the following:
- Mappers: We need map creators with both multi-player map experience and single-player
- Texture artists/skinners: Anyone that can create skins for either buildings or units, please apply!
- Web designers: We are currently look for a good web designer/coder to help painfulsunrise completely redo our site
If you want to help with any of the above positions, or any other, please email me, or post in the Open Positions area of our forums!
Keep an eye on the site!
