Default Point-Defense Laser Problem

I have recently moved from editing RA2 YR to editing Generals ZH. I added a new point defense laser for the US Laser General's Laser Crusader but it fires that laser from its treads! How can I move the firing point to the top of the main Laser Cannon?

You need to open up the model in RenX, add a bone of where you want the laser to fire from, then in the INI coding, put the name of the bone where the old bone name was.

Modeling? Wow, I didn't expected that.

By the way isn't RenX the same program that I always mistake with 3DS MAX? or are they compatible?

No, they aren't compatible, some of the Scripts you can use are, and you can even load .gmax files, the ones RenX uses into 3DS, but I've never tried boning a tank in 3DS, is it even possible?

I'm sorry if I've so litte knowledge. But did you said something about Gmax? Well, Gmax is actually the weak version of 3D Studio Max.

Will you please tell me what the RenX exactly is and how can I get it?

By the way, 3D Studio Max is an Ideal program for boning tanks, as I used it in Ground Control Modding.

Well, as for downloading RenX, just google either RenX, or Renegade Public Tools, or do a forum search for either of those, and as for saying something abotu Gmax, its just that RenX uses the same format of it.

Thanks several bunches. I didn't know RenX is the very same Renegade Public Tools. I think now I know where I can get it and I can make it work with 3D Studio MAX now.
