Confused with INI Structures
As I have recently moved from editing RA2 YR to editing Generals ZH, I sometimes become confused with the complex Relative structure of its INI files in ZH. When I was looking for Point Defense Laser weapons in Weapon.INI, I discovered a SupW_PointDefenseLaserWeapon entry that's attached to SupW_AmericaVehiclePointDefenseDrone in SuperWeaponGeneral.ini. However, no vehicle seems to use this type of Battle Drone. I also discovered a Lazr_AmericaVehiclePointDefenseDrone entry in LaserGeneral.ini that is associated with Laser Generals but I couldn't find any different between it and the Standard Battle Drone.
Please somebody tell me what's exactly this means and what's the use of these entries? Why the similar entry's are duplicated but the different versions aren't used at all?

There are many unused things in Generals/ZH, and you just stumbled upon a few of them, and the similar entries are actually different, just look at the names.

But is it neccessary that Laser General use a different drone that behaves the same or can I remove/edit it safely?

No, infact, you can do like most of the generals units and change them a little, like make the SW one faster firing or something, and yes you can safely remove/edit them if you want, but back up the file just incase I'm wrong.

Also look to the commandsets of the units that builds them. If you delete one that is listed as buildable your game will crash.

But the problem is Hostile, no units build the point defense drone, unless i just really never play as the SW general a lot.

The original plan was to give the Laser general a special laser drone instead of the battle drone. But when they cut the idea, they just referred the upgrade back to the original OCL, even though they left the code in.

After a while you get sort of accustomed to the ini files. BTW while we're on the topic of unused items, do the US and China officers come with complete art?
